Questions

Medical X-Ray Equipment Questions

What x-ray equipment do you offer for medical practices?
Digital radiography (DR) systems, flat panel upgrades for existing x-ray rooms, and analog systems from several manufacturers. We match the system to your patient volume, room and budget.
Should my practice choose DR or CR?
DR captures the image directly on a flat panel detector and shows it in seconds. CR uses cassettes that are read by a separate scanner. Most practices moving off film now go straight to DR, but we will walk you through both for your volume.
Can I upgrade my existing x-ray room to digital?
Often, yes. A flat panel detector can be added to many existing tables and generators, which costs far less than replacing the whole room.
Do you service equipment after it is installed?
Yes. Our factory-trained engineers install, calibrate and service the equipment we sell, and our US-based support team is available 24/7.
Can I deduct the cost of new x-ray equipment?
Section 179 may let your practice deduct the full purchase or lease price of qualifying equipment in the year you buy it. Check with your tax advisor for your situation.
