What we offer

Imaging Equipment for NP-Owned Clinics

In-house x-ray keeps patients in your clinic instead of sending them across town for imaging. We work with many manufacturers, so we can match a system to your space, patient volume and startup budget.

Digital radiography (DR)

Start digital from day one. DR shows high-resolution images in seconds, so you can read, diagnose and treat in the same visit.

Flat panel upgrades

Taking over a space that already has an x-ray room? Add a digital flat panel detector to the existing equipment for a cost-effective path to digital.

Analog x-ray equipment

A lower-cost starting point for new clinics that are not ready to go digital, backed by the same installation, service and support.

Installation and service

Factory-trained engineers install and calibrate your equipment before you open, then service it nationwide with 24/7 US-based support.

Questions

X-Ray Questions From Nurse Practitioners

Can nurse practitioners offer x-ray in their own practice?
Many NP-owned clinics offer in-house x-ray. Rules on ordering exams, who may operate the equipment and registering the machine vary by state, so confirm them with your state board and radiation control program. We handle the equipment, installation and service.
What x-ray equipment does a new clinic need?
Most primary care and urgent care clinics start with a general x-ray system (tube, generator, table or wall stand) paired with a digital detector and imaging software. We size the system to your room and the exams you plan to offer.
Should a new practice choose DR or CR?
DR captures the image directly on a flat panel detector and shows it in seconds. CR uses cassettes that are read by a separate scanner. Most new clinics go straight to DR, but we will walk you through both for your patient volume and budget.
Can I plan the x-ray room before we open?
Yes. Share your floor plan and opening timeline early and we will recommend equipment that fits the space, so installation lines up with your opening date.
Do you service equipment after it is installed?
Yes. Our factory-trained engineers install, calibrate and service the equipment we sell, and our US-based support team is available 24/7.
Can I deduct the cost of new x-ray equipment?
Section 179 may let your practice deduct the full purchase or lease price of qualifying equipment in the year you buy it. Check with your tax advisor for your situation.
